Command: findmx

  Format: findmx <pattern>

This command is intended for use when trying to locate a problematic address
on a list.

Occasionally due to mail forwarding, virtual mail servers and so on, it is
hard to track down a problem with a subscriber address which is being handled
by a mail server whose hostname has nothing at all to do with any of a list's
subscribers. This command will determine which address(es) on the selected
list are handled by a mail server whose Internet hostname matches the
specified <pattern>. Wildcarding is allowed in the pattern, but is not
required.

For example:

    findmx *.hookup.net

...will report all addresses on the currently selected list which are handled
by any mail server in the "hookup.net" domain.

NOTE: This can take a huge amount of time if you have a large number of
subscribers who are far away, or are on the other side of slow links. Don't
be too surprised if your list grinds to a halt for a while when you request
this operation.

This command is only available to list owners.
