Command: subscribe

  Format: subscribe <list>

Subscribes you to the named list.

If the list has the "sub-approve" flag set, you will be added to the list
in a "pending" state. You will not receive list traffic until a list owner
approves your subscription.

If the list has the "sub-confirm" flag set, you will receive a 32-character
code word which you must send back with the "confirm" command to verify
that you did indeed request submission to the list.

If the list has the "invite-only" flag set, your request will be rejected.

If the list has "maxmembers" set to something non-zero and the number of
subscribers on the list is equal to or greater than that number, your request
will be rejected.

If the "check-addrs" flag is set, your address must appear to be legal, or
the request will be denied.

The list must, of course, already exist. Moreover, you must not have used
"select" at any time prior in the same set of commands.
